Home Tint
Tint for the Way You Live
Residential tint is about comfort in the rooms you actually use. South Florida sun can make a living room, bedroom, or home office harsh and hot for parts of the day. Film softens that without closing the curtains.
The work starts with the glass. We assess what you have — single pane, double pane, coated, sliders — and recommend a film that fits the glass and the look you want. Then we come to your home and do the work on site.
Trade-offs
What Film Can & Can't Do
Honest about the limits. Here are the real trade-offs so you can choose with your eyes open.
Glare & Daylight
Film softens harsh direct sun and cuts glare on screens and surfaces, while still letting daylight in. The trade-off is some reduction in overall light — we help you pick a film that keeps the room usable.
Privacy
Darker film adds daytime privacy — harder to see in during the day. At night, with lights on inside, that reverses. Film is not a one-way mirror; we set realistic expectations.
Glass Compatibility
Not all residential glass is the same. Double-pane units, coated glass, and large sliders each have considerations. We assess the glass before recommending a film.
Look
Film changes how the glass reads from inside and out. Some homeowners want barely-there; others want a visible tint. We match the film to the look you want.

Glass Assessment
We Look at the Glass First
Residential glass varies more than people expect. Double-pane units trap heat between the panes; some films are not suited to that. Low-e coatings change how film performs. Large sliders need clean, flat surfaces for a clean application.
Before we quote, we confirm the glass type and condition. That keeps the film performing the way it should and avoids problems down the line. It is a short conversation, and it matters.
Residential Tint FAQ
Common Questions
What details help you quote residential tint?+
Send the number of panes, approximate dimensions, photos of the windows, and the rooms that become uncomfortable. Mention double-pane or coated glass if known, existing film, high windows, and any HOA or landlord requirements.
Can I keep my curtains or blinds?+
Yes. Window film can complement existing window coverings. Keep curtains or blinds for nighttime privacy and adjustable light control; film selection should account for how bright the room needs to remain during the day.
Will tint make my rooms too dark?+
It depends on the film you choose. Lighter films cut glare with minimal darkening; darker films change the look more. We help you balance daylight and comfort for each room.
Does residential tint give privacy at night?+
Only partly. Tint adds daytime privacy — harder to see in when it is brighter outside than inside. At night with lights on, that reverses and it is easier to see in. We will not promise nighttime privacy that film cannot deliver.
Can you tint any window in my home?+
Most residential glass can be tinted, but double-pane units, low-e coatings, and some specialty glass have limits. We assess the glass before recommending a film so the result is safe and durable.
Do you come to my home?+
Yes. We are mobile-only and come to your home across Broward, Palm Beach, and Miami-Dade. Free mobile service is within 20 miles of Fort Lauderdale; beyond that a travel fee may apply, confirmed by ZIP.
How do you quote a home?+
We confirm the glass type, the number and size of windows, and what you want from the tint. For larger jobs we may need to see the glass first. Call or request a quote to start.
Do you guarantee energy savings?+
Energy savings vary with the home, glazing, sun exposure, chosen film, and HVAC use. We assess your glass and comfort goals before recommending a film; a fixed reduction in utility bills is not guaranteed.
